NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. – The Blackstone Valley Education Foundation will hold its first annual 5K and 10K race on Saturday, Oct. 6 at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, 85 Beaumont Drive.
Same day registration will begin at 8 a.m. The race begins at 10 a.m. The cost is $15 per person, $40 per family of between three and six, $10 for students, and free to children 10 and under.
The top male and female finishers in the 10K receive $500. T-shirts are given to the first 150 who pre-registranted and available to those who register the day of the race while supplies last.
The day will include family fun activities including music, a barbecue, a bouncy house, and a clown.
The Blackstone Valley Education Foundation, in partnership with the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce, promote workforce development and tend to the personal and economic development of its residents.
