What To Do In Northbridge This Week

NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. – With schools closed for the week, and town offices and many organizations closed Monday and Tuesday to celebrate the Christmas Holiday, the week between Christmas and the new year is one of church services and special events at Whitinsville Social Library.

Monday, Dec. 24

Schools: closed for the holiday

Memorial Town Hall: closed for the holiday

Christmas Eve Family Service: 5:30 p.m. Village Congregational Church, 5 Church St.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service: 11 p.m. Village Congregational Church, 5 Church St.

Christmas Eve Mass: 4:30 p.m. St. Patrick’s Church, 1 Cross St.

Midnight Mass: Midnight. St. Patrick’s Church, 1 Cross St.

Christmas Eve Service: 5 p.m. Pleasant St. Christian Reformed Church, 25 Cross St., Whitinsville

Christmas Eve Family Service: 5:30 p.m. Blackstone Valley United Methodist Church, 61 Linwood Ave.

Holy Communion and Candlelight Service: 11 p.m. Blackstone Valley United Methodist Church, 61 Linwood Ave.

Christmas Eve Service: 5 p.m. Fairlawn Christian Reformed Church, 305 Goldthwaite Road

Visit with Santa: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Whitinsville Wellness Center & Spa, 338 Church St., Whitinsville Treats from Santa for children and adults. Food donations collected for the Northbridge Association of Churches Food Pantry. All welcome.

Tuesday, Dec. 25
Free Christmas dinner
12:30 to 2:30 p.m. United Methodist Church, 61 Linwood Ave., Whitinsville. Open to anyone.

Christmas Service: 10 a.m. St. Patrick’s Church, 1 Cross St.

Wednesday, Dec. 26

Knitting and Needlework: 6 p.m. New and experienced knitters invited to join the group. Whitinsville Social Library, 17 Church St.

Schools closed for the holiday.

Memorial Town Hall and all town offices closed for the holiday.

Thursday, Dec. 27

Story and Craft Time: 10 a.m. For toddlers ages 2 and up. Whitinsville Social Library.

Art with Erin Lewis: 1 p.m. Whitinsville Social Library ages 6 and up. Registration required. To register call the library at  508-234-2151, ext. 4 or stop by.the library.
