ConcernedCitazen1:

Just a reminder that Laurieann's Restaurant will donate 10% of 'Food Purchases' on November 16th to 2013 Operation Graduation when you tell your server that you are with Operation Graduation - this is a great opportunity to help raise money for a good cause.

Holiday Shopping:

In talking with my friends, all agree working people are being very careful on spending and keeping their Wallets and Pocket Books almost closed unless its a good bargain this Holiday Season. Plus if your a Senior on Social Security all you may be getting is a 1.7% COLA this year and its unknown how much Medicare is going to be going up monthly? So your COLA may be out the window offset by an increase in Medicare?

In my family we are going back to the old type Christmas two or three presents that's it, and a good family meal until the economy if it ever gets better turns around?

Hometownmom:

Have a feeling with this Economy a lot of families will be having a Walton's or A Little House On The Prairie Holiday Season this year.
