Singh Performance Center: 7 p.m. “The Subject Was Roses” will be performed at the Singh Performance Center, 60 Douglas Road at Alternatives’ presented by Pilgrim Soul Productions. Maple syrup demonstration: 11 a.m. Learn how maple syrup is made at River Bend Farm, part of the Blackstone River and Canal Heritage State Park, 287 Oak St., Uxbridge from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The program is free and all ages are welcome. Charity breakfast: 8 a.m. Knights of Columbus Hall, 77 Prescott St., Whitinsville. The breakfast is from 8 to 11 a.m. Donations to benefit the Down Syndrome Congress and Early Learning Center will be accepted.
