What To Do This Weekend In Northbridge

NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. – With Christmas just a couple of weeks away, weekend events center around the holiday and include Christmas stories at Alternatives' and the annual Santa Run sponsored by the Northbridge Fire Department. For more to do, see our Events page.

Friday, Dec. 14

Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas:” 7 p.m. Performed by the NHS Drama Club. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and students. Northbridge High School, 427 Linwood Ave.

Two For Christmas 7 p.m. Susan Nest and Bill Sigalis will read "A Child’s Christmas in Wales" by Dylan Thomas and "A Christmas Memory" by Truman Capote. Free, donations to Alternatives’ accepted. Singh Performance Center at Alternatives’, 60 Douglas Road, Whitinsville. 

Boys basketball: Northbridge High School vs. Bartlett High. Junior varsity is at 5:30 p.m., varsity is at 7 p.m. Northbridge High School, 427 Linwood Ave.

Saturday, Dec. 15

Santa Run: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Santa and Mrs. Claus will travel through neighborhoods in Northbridge and Whitinsville on fire trucks. The Santa Run begins at the Main Street fire station.

Spaghetti Supper: 4:30 and 6 p.m. Operation Graduation fundraiser. Price is $12 for adults, $8 for senior citizens and children 12 and under or $40 maximum per family. Northbridge High School, 427 Linwood Ave.
