NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. – The morning of Jan. 1 dawned clear, cold and windy – perfect running weather in the minds of more than 200 people who participated in the town of Northbridge’s inaugural 1st Day 5K.

Well, maybe not “perfect” running weather.  “That cold wind coming back was awful,” said Chamber of Commerce President Jeannie Hebert, catching her breath after her run.
