NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. – Representatives from eight engineering firms attended a request for qualifications pre-conference meeting and tour of the Department of Works facility on Fletcher Street Wednesday morning.

DPW Director James Shuris said he’s looking for a firm that can “think outside the box’’ – one that might consider a walking path along the Mumford River, a stormwater management plan, and solar or water power as part of the DPW feasibility study proposal.
