NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. – An open call for singers by the Blackstone Valley Community Chorus is scheduled 6 p.m. Feb. 27 at the Douglas Municipal Center, 29 Depot St., Douglas.
This chorus, directed by Diane Pollard, will prepare music from memorable movie soundtracks this year. Performance will include a concert May 5 at St. Mary’s Church in Uxbridge and during Millbury’s bicentennial celebration in June .
Rehearsals will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Sundays beginning March 3 at the Douglas Municipal Center. There is a $30 membership fee to cover minimal concert expenses and sheet music.
