NORTHBRDIGE, Mass. — Members of the local quilt guild Thimble Pleasures are hard at work on their latest raffle quilt.

Guild members met with raffle committee Chairwomen Sue Pelland and Kathy Sperino to discuss plans for the quilt, which will be raffled at Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School in Upton in March 2014.

Proceeds from the raffle support the guild's charitable works, which include such programs as the scholarship program and Comfort Sew Quilt Program.

The next meeting of the guild is Thursday, Jan. 17, at 7 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church on Maple Street in Mendon.

Guest speaker Ginny Radloff will have a trunk show featuring Judy Niemeyer patterns. Guests are welcome for a $5 fee.
