NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. – The lighted evergreen on the Whitinsville Town Common looked festive on Saturday, trimmed with plastic bags filled with socks, hats, mittens, scarves and other warm items donated to Cadette Girl Scout Troop 11530.
Northbridge Girl Scouts Trim A Tree With Warmth
The girls, with the help of Daisy and Brownie troop members, collected the donation of warm gifts that will be donated to those in need in the community.
The donations were placed in plastic bags, donated by Shaw’s, to protect them from a steady drizzle of rain.
Refreshments were served.
