Whitinsville Wellness Center Helps Children

NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. - Massage therapists at Whitinsville Wellness Center and Spa, 338 Church St., collected $100 for Barton Center for Diabetes Education at a benefit held earlier this month during Everybody Deserves a Massage Week.

Volunteer massage therapists gave free massages to benefit the Barton Center with clients asked to donate $5, all of which will be used to send insulin-dependant children to summer camp.

Robin Bachant-Allen, who runs the center with her husband Ron, sad they will continue to collect for the charity until Aug. 10, with survival bracelets available for a donation of $5. To see a bracelet visit the center’s Facebook page.
