NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. - Dogs 6-months-old or older residing in Northbridge must be licensed by May 31. The license fees are neutered/spayed dogs, $6; male/female dogs, $10. A $10 late fee will be applied for licenses obtained after May 31 (other than for new dogs).
There are three ways to obtain dog licenses:
- At the Town Clerk’s office which is open on Mondays from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Tuesdays through Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- *Complete and mail a form, available on line or in the clerk's office, along with a current rabies vaccination certificate and proof of spaying/neutering, to the Town Clerk's office, 6 Main St., Whitinsville, MA 01588. Be sure to enclose a check made payable to the Town of Northbridge for the proper fee with your request. The license will be processed and mailed to the applicant.
- Access northbridgemass.org, click on Departments, then Town Clerk. A link on the Clerk’s page will take you to our online payment center. This option can be used to license or relicense your dog, but only if the clerk has the current/updated rabies certificate and proper spay/neuter information for the dog.
