NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. – To celebrate the life of her son Gregory, killed in a motorcycle accident in 2007, Amy Amaral is collecting toys and donations for the Blackstone Valley Detachment 911 Marine Corps League Toys for Kids and Teens program.
Christmas In July will be Saturday, July 14 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Northbridge Pools, 1115 Providence Road in Whitinsville. There will also be raffles and auction items.
She chose July for the event, she said, because it's a time of year when people may have a little extra money - they don't have heating bills and they're not shopping for Christmas.
