Aquitaine:

Absolutely, in Jefferson! We were watching TV....felt the couch/house seem to shake sideways, a rumbling noise and water bouncing all around in a water bottle! Clock by the TV said 7:14 pm......about 5 to 10 minutes later it came on the news........but already knew it was an earthquake.....just HAD to have
been! Funny tho.....NO reaction from the dogs....and they're usually so hyper!

Florian:

I didn't feel any thing or hear anything. The tremors must have gone over or around Northborough. :)

Florian:

It was quiet here in Northborough where I live.

ctolson:

sure. We had the TV off because I was helping Jr with his homework. Heard and felt it - seemed like the south wall was moving

NHJIM1:

We definitely felt it in NH. Of course we live in a mobile home. The most unsettling part, I think, was the noise it generated.Kind of scary to old dude like me. People don't realize that there are more fault lines running through NE than most anywhere in the US.

Liberal:

Calamity Jane, your dog could have a future in California $$$. Big money and high demand for an earthquake prediction dog. What does he think about snowfall this winter? And bkeeler, those (zooma) classes aren't what they claim to be. I used to attend one in Kennebunk ME that I think your board members would really like.

bkeeler:

Grafton Little League board members were at the municipal center for our monthly league meeting and we felt the building shake. No real concern was voiced at the time and someone even commented the shaking was probably from a zooma class on the first floor.

SuzieMFD:

My children who were on computers in their rooms noticed very slight shaking and movement. I was on the treadmill at the time and somehow missed the event.

dennisbou.boudreau:

We definetly felt it in Brunswick,Me. strongest one I've ever felt here.

emuhhs80:

thought at first it was a train.. then my son came out of his room asking what was making the house shake....

CalamityJane:

My dog had been acting very strangely and would not stop whining. We took him outside probably 5 times in an hour thinking he needed a break. When we heard about the earthquake it all made sense. He definitely felt what we missed!

Here he was probably trying to alert us (timmy is in the well) and we were simply ignoring him! LOL

ctolson:

our cat was acting up unusually for about 5-10 mins before it happened too. He kept jumping up on things he shouldn't be like he didn't want to be on the floor. Couldn't figure it out but thinking back he probably sensed the vibrations of the tremor about to happen

Chris L.:

At first I thought my son was jumping around the room or something, but it felt different. Then I thought, haha maybe it was an earthquake... I guess it was!
