Northbridge Man Portrays Paul Whitin at DAR Awards Night

DOUGLAS, Mass. -  Ken Warchel of Northbridge portrayed Paul Whitin at the annual Daughters of the American Revolution  Good Citizen Awards night on Dec. 5.

The local historian entertained with a history of life the the Blackstone Valley in the early 1800's. 

Four students received Good Citizen awards - Nicole Defazio of Northbridge High School, Amanda Maguire of  Douglas High School, Danielle Combs of Blackstone Valley High School and Molly Stark of Whitinsville Christian School.
