NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. -- Jubes Family Restaurant, 1227 Providence Road, will help send Special Olympian Michael DeLuca to the 2013 Special Olympics World Games in South Korea.

On Wednesday, 10 percent of all gross proceeds at the restaurant will be donated to Michael’s Special Olympian cause.

“Wednesday is an early release day at all Northbridge schools and Jubes is a perfect spot to take the family after teacher conferences,” said Stacie Murray, one of DeLuca’s “Cowbells” – a group of women who started a community campaign last month to help defray the cost of getting Michael and his parents, Erin and Richard, to South Korea.

There will be raffles of gift cards to local restaurants and other fun items at Jubes from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Murray said.

DeLuca, a junior at Northbridge High School, started skiing when he was 3 and has been excelling at downhill skiing ever since.
