Northbridge Woman Among Those Honored

NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. - Robin Henry and Robin Chapdelaine of Uxbridge, Paige Cooper-Sturdevant of Douglas, and Kristen Lareau of Whitinsville were recently honored
at Alternatives’ 36th annual Thank You Reception.

Alternatives, one of the region’s largest human service providers, helps people with disabilities build meaningful lives in the community – lives that include real homes, real jobs and real relationships.

Henry was selected as a “Rookie of the Year” for her work as a counselor at one of the organization’s homes for individuals with developmental disabilities in Northbridge.

Chapdelaine, who joined Alternatives in 1994, received an “Unsung Star” award for her work as an overnight counselor at a home for people with mental illness in Milford.

Cooper-Sturdevant, who received an “Outstanding Achievement Award,” is a rehabilitation quality manager for the organization and Lareau, who earned an “Extra Mile Award” serves as a program supervisor at one of Alternatives’ homes for individuals with developmental disabilities in Uxbridge.
