DOUGLAS, Mass. - Kenneth R. Chouinard, 56, died Saturday, Dec. 1 at home after a long illness.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Dorothy E. (Wharton) Chouinard; a son Daniel Chouinard and his wife Michelle of Manchaug; a brother Raymond A. Chouinard of Kansas; a sister Lesa M. Bickford and her husband Kevin of Douglas; a granddaughter Alyssa Chouinard of Manchaug; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Born in Worcester on May 13, 1956 he was the son of the late Raymond J. and Barbara (Hemmingway) Chouinard and lived in Douglas his entire life. He was a graduate of Blackstone Valley Tech. class of 1974. Kenny was a plumber where he owned and operated Chouinard Plumbing & Heating for many years prior to his forced retirement in 2010. He enjoyed woodworking, and loved boating on the lake. He was a member of the Singletary Rod & Gun Club in Oxford.
His celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 5 from 12- to 5 p.m. at the Singletary Rod & Gun Club, 300 Sutton Ave., Oxford.
