MILFORD, Mass. – Gary S. Powell, 48, of Milford and formerly of Bellingham, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012 at home.
He was born March 22, 1964 in Newton, the son of Clyde B. and Ethelyn T. (Hallet) Powell of Uxbridge.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Pamela Farris and her husband Anthony Duszak of Milford and Kristin L. and her husband Christopher Kuehn of Fallston, MD; 4 nieces, Ashley Farris, Madison Kuehn, Sarah Kuehn, Breanna Duszak; a nephew, Christopher Kuehn, Jr., aunts, uncles and many cousins.
Mr. Powell had worked for several years at the former Jordan Marsh and Company in Framingham. Gary enjoyed time spent with family, especially with his nieces and nephew. He also enjoyed music, theater, and the New England Patriots.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012 at 10 a.m. from the Buma Funeral Home, 101 N. Main St., Rte. 122, Uxbridge followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 71 Mendon St., Uxbridge.
Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Granite St., Uxbridge.
Visiting hours will be held Monday, Sept. 24, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
