NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. - Kenneth P. Baker, 26, died Sunday, September 30, following a traffic accident in New York City.
He is survived by his parents, Paul and Shauna (Prince) Baker; a sister, Ryan Baker; and his companion of seven years, Erica Lavallee, all of Whitinsville; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Mr. Baker was born in Worcester, October 6, 1985. He graduated from Northbridge High School in 2004, where he played basketball, football, and soccer. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Elmira College, and he earned a masters degree in sociology from SUNY Binghamton. He was a doctoral candidate, at SUNY Binghamton, and an adjunct professor of sociology at Elmira College.
Mr. Baker's Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, in St. Patrick's Church, Cross Street, Whitinsville. Following cremation, burial will be in Saint Patrick's Cemetery. Calling Hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 5, in the Carr Funeral Home, 24 Hill Street, Whitinsville.
