Obituary: Kevin N. Remillard, 35

UXBRIDGE, Mass. - Kevin N. Remillard, 35, of 160 Sutton St., died unexpectedly on Saturday, Sept. 1.

He is survived by his parents Kevin J. and Patricia K. (O'Neill) Remillard of Uxbridge; his companion Katie Dalstrom and his son Kevin N. Remillard Jr. of Sutton; his paternal grandmother Joan (Croteau) Remillard of Grafton and his maternal grandmother Barbara (Army) O’Neill of Grafton; three uncles Larry Remillard,  Kenny Remillard, and Dan O’Neill; two aunts Renee Leoncini and Amy Remillard; two cousins with whom he was very close Jessie Remillard and Brett Remillard; and other cousins Robert Mayo and Jillian Brooks; and several friends.  Kevin is predeceased by a brother Phillip who died in 1995.  

Born in Worcester on Nov. 8, 1976, he has lived in Uxbridge the past 30 years. Kevin was a graduate of St. John’s High School and Emery Riddle University in Daytona, FL.  He worked for Local Carpenter Union #475 as a scaffolder throughout the area since his graduation.  An outstanding athlete, he played baseball and football when younger and recently participated in weight lifting and ultimate fighting.  He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of St. Mary’s Church.  Always very personable, charismatic, and polite, he will be missed by all who knew him.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, Sept. 8 from Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd., Uxbridge with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 71 Mendon St.  Cremation will follow.  Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday, Sept. 7 from 5-8 p.m.
