Northbridge Man Charged With Assaulting Pregnant Woman

NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. – An alleged assault against a pregnant woman lead to the arrest on Monday of a 24-year-old local man.

After an investigation, police said they charged James Perry, 24, of 66 School Park, with assault and battery on a pregnant woman.  The Police Department received the call of a domestic assault and battery Monday at 1:40 a.m.

Arresting officers were Richard Gorman, Kristina Westbury and Michael Marino. Perry will be arraigned in  Uxbridge District Court.

This is what I don't understand with society. The reason why people do these things is because they're consequences are not set to a standard in which it immediately affects the offender. If parents gave their kids a good smack when they did something wrong other than buy them a car then maybe the way things work would be different. But instead you have these liberals in office trying to give these criminals rights. I think the police should have given this man a sturdy beating and then prosecuted him.
