NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. – A 22-year-old Whitinsville man was arrested Wednesday and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon — a car.
Jared M. Jacobs, 22, of 559 Fletcher St., was arrested at 9:20 p.m. after a domestic incident earlier in the day, police said. A woman told police she was hit by a car operated by Jacobs.
He said the woman was leaning on her car and broke the mirror as he attempted to drive away, police said. No injuries were reported.
Jacobs remained in police custody pending bail arrangements, police said. He will be arraigned in Uxbridge District Court at a later date.
Patrolman Randy Lloyd and Patrolman Michael Marino were the arresting officers.
