NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. – A Whitinsville man was arrested and charged with assault and battery at 8 p.m. Feb. 7 when police responded to a report of domestic abuse.
Police said Eric Cabana, 41, of Overlook Street, was arrested after burning the victim’s arm with a lit cigarette. He was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a lit cigarette).
The suspect was was held at the Northbridge Police Department over the weekend on $2,000 cash bail and arraigned Monday in Uxbridge District Court.
Arresting officers were Patrolmen Levon Derkosrofian and Jeffrey White.
