Northbridge Man Charged With Assault And Battery

NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. - A 40-year-old local man was arrested July 21 and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, domestic.

Police said Francis X. Kingston Jr. of 2029 Quaker St. was arrested at his residence at 12:35 a.m. following a request to remove an unwanted person at that address.

He was released on bail and will be arraigned in Uxbridge District Court on July 24.

Arresting officers were Sgt. Stephen Zollin, and Officers Richard Gorman and Anthony Ciccone.

In other police news:
Thomas Roy, 24, of 30 School Park, was arrested on July 15 on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. The arrest was made after a motor vehicle stop by Officer Jarrod Woeller.
