Northbridge Police Charge Woman With Assault With Wine Glasses

NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. – A 36-year-old Whitinsville woman was arrested by Northbridge police Saturday on charges of allegedly assaulting two people with wine glasses, police said.

Nicole Calnan, of 42 Pine St., was charged with two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (wine glass), police said.

Police responded to 2210 Providence Road at 2 a.m. on the report of a fight. The victims sustained minor cuts and injuries but declined medical attention, police said.

Calnan was released on bond and scheduled for arraignment Tuesday in Uxbridge District Court.

Richard Gorman, Kristina Westbury and Anthony Ciccone were the arresting officers.

Police also responded to several minor motor vehicle accidents the week of Oct. 15 through 21. A complete police log is attached.
