Motor Vehicle Offenses, Shoplifting Charges Made In Northbridge

NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. – A 40-year-old Whitinsville woman was arrested on Jan. 5 by Northbridge police on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Rasha S. Nasr of 55 D St. was arrested at 8:34 p.m. following a motor vehicle stop on Main Street, police said. She was released on personal recognizance and scheduled for arraignment in Uxbridge District Court on Jan. 7.

Arresting officers were patrolmen Randy Lloyd and James Berkowitz.

  • Police said a 42-year-old Northbridge woman was arrested Jan. 4 after she was accused of shoplifting at Walmart on Valley Way. TerriAnn Brochu of 2208 Providence Road was charged with shoplifting after police received a call at 4 p.m. that she was being by Walmart security. Arresting officer was Patrolman Jeffrey White.
  • On Jan. 4  Ricky Sly, 24, of 2227 Providence Rd., Northbridge,  was arrested at his residence without incident at 11:25 a.m. on warrants out of Dudley Court and Worcester Court. He was wanted on shoplifting charges. Arresting officers were Sgt. Brian Patrinelli and Patrolman Conrad Chickinski.
  • The department also responded to three property damage accidents and two domestic disturbance calls the week of Jan. 1 through 7.
