NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. – A 53-year-old Northbridge man is being held on $100,000 cash bail in connection with an armed robbery Saturday, Dec. 8, at Cellar Sooper on Providence Road.

Court Magistrate Gerald Lemire said David Phelan, of 90 Fletcher St., will be arraigned Tuesday in Uxbridge District Court.

He was arrested at 10:20 a.m. on C Street after being stopped by Sgt. Brian Patrinelli, who was monitoring traffic on North Main Street near 1 Quik Stop, 205 N. Main.
