NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. - A disturbance involving a knife and gun lead to the arrest on Monday of two Northbridge residents.
Northbridge Police Chief Walter Warchol said his department received multiple 911 calls Monday at about 7:58 p.m. reporting an incident outside Walmart on Valley Way. Callers said a gun and knife were used.
After investigation, two men were arrested.
Police said Kyle P. Wesgan, 26, of 148 Hastings Drive, Whitinsville and John R. Gillett, 31, of 192 Church St., Whitinsville, were charged with one count each of assault with a dangerous weapon.
Warchol said the gun used was a BB pistol, it was not fired during the incident and there were no injuries.
Both men were held on $2,500 cash bail and will be arraigned in Uxbridge Court today.
Investigating officers were Matthew Leonard, Levon Derkosrofian, Randy Lloyd, and Michael Marino.
