MILFORD, Mass. – State Sen. Richard T. Moore (D-Uxbridge) joined fellow lawmakers by wearing red Wednesday in support of the American Heart Association's "Go Red for Women" annual event.

Established in 2004, "Go Red for Women" was designed to empower women to take charge of their cardiovascular health, dispel the myth that cardiovascular disease is an “old man's disease” and provide the tools necessary for women to live healthy lifestyles.

In the above photo, Moore stands in solidarity with Senate President Therese Murray (D-Plymouth), House Speaker Robert DeLeo (D-Winthrop) and more than 100 other state legislators at the Grand Staircase at the State House.
