NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. - Northbridge Public Schools will be closed on Monday, Feb. 11 due to poor, narrow road conditions, high snowbanks at intersections, and unplowed sidewalks.

"We are making this decision in the best interests of student safety," said Schools Superintendent Nancy Spitulnik.

Certain streets are exempt from the parking ban. The list is on the town's website.

Knov278:

Totally agree. No one seems to follows winter parking ban this year at all. They don't seem to care the it just makes more work for those trying to clean up the public ways.

stillaranch:

Exactly NHJIM. Is there a fine for not moving your car off the road?

NHJIM1:

If people would get cars off the street before the storm like they are suppose to the streets could be properly cleared. They have had all day to clear the streets.
