Northbridge Students Honored For Living RAMS Life

NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. - September “Kudos” award winners were recently announced at Northbridge High School.

The “Kudos” student recognition program is based upon Northbridge High School’s “R.A.M.S.” mission statement: "Together we encourage Responsibility, Achievement, Mutual respect, and Service.:

Students can be recognized at any time with a “Kudos Kard” for doing good things
throughout the school. Students then place their Kards in a box where they are collected each month making them eligible to be selected to win an awards breakfast. Each month, teachers vote for one student from each grade in each of the four categories to be selected for this honor. Students receive breakfast, a “Kudos Koin” which can be used like cash at the school store or cafeteria, as well as a certificate recognizing their achievement.

Sophomore – Elizabeth Laythe
Junior – Rachel Zaidel

For demonstrating outstanding achievement:
Freshman – Imam Zarrinkoub
Senior – Eric Hartounian
Senior – Hannah Burns

For demonstrating outstanding mutual respect:
Freshman – Hailey Minichiello
Sophomore – Luke Kairit
Junior – Joe Manzo
Senior – Melissa Dognazzi

For demonstrating outstanding service:
Freshman – Nicholas Seale
Sophomore – Robert Stanton Philbrick
Sophomore – Alex Smith
Junior – Audrey Gannon
Junior – Erin Kelly
Senior – Dayanara Goulet

Teachers recognized for living the RAMS mission statement were
Kim Toomey, Heidi Philips, Susan Thulin, and Somer Jones.
