Northbridge, Grafton High Swim Team Earns 29 Best Times

NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. – Members of the combined Northbridge and Grafton high mixed gender school swim team posted 29 of the top times in a recent competition against Gardner, Coach Denise Foster said.

The team won the meet, 97 to 62.

Double winners

Northbridge

• Brian Brennan: 100 fly, 101.85; 500 free, 555.16
• Colby Foster: 200 im, 2.17.43; 100 back, 59.91
• Captain Rob Ekberg: 50 free, 24.18; 100 free, 53.16
• Alyssa Murray: 100 breastroke; made sectionals

Gardner

• Alison Cheney, first place, 200 free, 2:16.53

The meet garnered the most wins ever for Northbridge, Foster said.

The next meet is against Tantasqua at Tantasqua on Jan. 16.
