16 snow/ice events and 62" inches of snow? When was this? That doesn't seem right. He wants it to sound like he dealt with so much more. I heard that he wasn't even here for alot of the storm. My vote had absolutely nothing to do with whether or not the DPW Director has a "caring" character. It has absolutely nothing to do with what is right for him. It's about what's right for the town. I voted No. View Comment

I don't have "sticker shock". This is what real facilities cost out there in the real world . Do you realize that this town wouldn't even have had the money to pay for these architectural designs were it not for the insurance payment for the collapse of the red barn at the DPW? That tells you a lot right there. Now, the new manager there is talking about how awful the place is. Oh, really well gee, thanks for telling us, we've only been trying to get a new place for at least 10 years. Sorry we don't have a new place for you to work in. If it's so awful how did the old manager and those workers ever get anything done? My thanks to ALL of them. Finish this project and get going on a new Fire Station. Very out-dated facility.
