I don't know who Robert Nault is but I know Bruce Spinney is intelligent, level headed, and very involved in the town of Grafton. I think we would be wise to elect him. View Comment
It's funny that they should call marijuana a carcinogen since many prescribed medicines destroy the liver as well as many other terrible side effects. I'm more concerned about the drunks out there then those who might smoke marijuana and alcohol is the true gateway drug! I'm not going to go on but please, don't believe the hype! View Comment
The point of a building inspector is to protect the consumer not to hassle the consumer and delay projects! That's what Bob Berger does, hassle and delay. He seems to get some sort of perverse joy from making things difficult for the people of Grafton. If he would use professional discretion in doing his job people wouldn't avoid his office and permitting but knowing the history of this man makes anyone in their right mind stay clear of Berger's office! Our Town Administrator and Select People enjoy the fact that Berger places fees on anything and everything he can because those fees go into the general fund. People of this town who own a house don't realize how bad this guy is until they finally have to deal with him! I once thought that people were avoiding him because they were trying to get away with something and I found out they were avoiding him because he has a Napoleon complex, he starts out nice then puts the screws to you anyway he can. I think it's great that we have a cricket team now, I just need to figure out how this game works. I also like the fact that the team is called the Tigers since South Grafton used to have a Mill baseball team called the Polish Tigers. GO TIGERS!

I saw this the other morning at Ferry Street park and the kids looked like they were having a great time! It's nice to see new things going on. View Comment
It is my belief that the building inspectors job is to assist business' and home owners and to protect them from incompetent contractors and dangerous situations. He should use "professional discretion" but what he actually does is tell you to get an engineer to do drawings and sign off on the simplest of projects which in turn raises costs through the roof and takes all responsibility off of the inspector. If this is the way things are run, there is no need for an inspector!
I was unable to attend this meeting because I was grieving the death of a friend and I know the usual stroking of the public would have caused me to lose my mind. It is clear that the same old same old occurred at this meeting, excuses and no results! View Comment
