A man and woman were arrested in Vermont on Monday, Jan. 29, and charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old Springfield boy in 2022 over a drug dispute, authorities said.
Ashley Wicks, 32, and Shawn Bulson, 28, both of Bennington, Vermont, are charged with charges of being accessories after the fact to the fatal shooting, Vermont State Police said. Wicks also faces a conspiracy to commit murder charge.

Two Newark men were recently convicted for their roles in which one man was killed when a group of people were shot at in May 2019, authorities said.
Tymeer Gumbs, 25, and Isaiah Kane, 25, were in a stolen Dodge Durango when they pulled up to a group of men and started shooting at them at Maple and Chancellor Avenue in Newark, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II said.
