Flooding Shuts NJ Turnpike In Carteret, Other Roadways Across New Jersey

Truck Veers Off Garden State Parkway, Lands In Woods (Updated)
A truck veered off the Garden State Parkway on the Jersey Shore.
The crash occurred at about 6 a.m. Thursday, March 14 southbound near milepost 62 in Eagleswood Township, according to New Jersey State Police.
The Hino truck driver lost directional control, ran off the roadway to the left, struck the guardrail, and came to final rest in the wooded area, said Trooper Troy McNair, a State Police spokesman.
There were no injuries reported, he said.
The crash remains under investigation
All lanes were open as of 9:25 a.m., 511nj.org reported.
