DC Man Killed By Gunman In Maryland Shared Stories Of Hope After Turning Life Around
Friends and family are mourning the loss of Deangelo Moore, a father and entrepreneur who was gunned down in Prince George's County after making painstaking efforts to turn his life around after some trouble with the law.
Early on Wednesday, Oct. 3, police say that District resident Moore, 32, and Derrick Graham, 41, were shot in what his family described as "a senseless act of violence" in Oxon Hill.

Akindeji Agarah died doing what he loved.
Agarah, 29, was playing soccer on Sunday, Aug. 6 — a game in which he scored a goal — when he fell and started gasping for breath, according to a campaign launched by loved ones.
Attempts from his teammates, paramedics, and doctors to save him were futile.
The GoFundMe created to assist with funeral expenses had raised $22,700 as of Monday, Aug. 21.
