Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Suitland Man Busted In Stolen Hyundai With Gun In Waistband A Suitland man has been arrested after being caught driving a stolen Hyundai, according to the Prince George's County Police Department. Brandon Handy, 27, was taken into custody on Tuesday, Feb. 14 after officers noticed him inside of a Hyundai that had been reported stolen on Saturday, Feb. 4, a spokesperson said on Wednesday. Teen Accused Of Threatening To Bomb Manassas High School Busted By Police A 15-year-old boy has been identified as the suspect behind a bomb threat that targeted a Manassas high school, authorities announced on Wednesday, Feb. 15. Attempted Murder Suspect Busted In Baltimore After Three-Month Search: Police A 37-year-old man has been arrested on attempted murder charges after attacking a man in Baltimore late last year, authorities say. Christopher Bowser was arrested around noon, Tuesday, Feb. 14, after being identified as the suspect in a shooting back in November 2022, according to a Baltimore Police Department spokesperson. Annapolis Woman Killed By Teen Driver After Super Bowl ID'd: Police A 54-year-old Annapolis woman is dead after being reportedly struck by a teenage driver, authorities say. Mary Johannes Summers was reportedly walking across Riva Road at Broad Creek Drive when she was struck by a 17-year-old driving a Ford Focus around 11 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 12, according to an Anne Arundel County Police spokesperson. Body Of Man With 'Obvious Trauma' Found On Baltimore Street Detectives are investigating a death after a body was found in Baltimore, authorities say. The body of an unknown man was found shortly before 4 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 14, in the 2800 block of Joseph Street, according to a Baltimore Police Department spokesperson.
