Suspect Arrested In Newtown Who Fled Traffic Stop, Threw Pot Out Window NEWTOWN, Conn. — A Waterbury man was arrested on drug charges after he was caught in traffic in Newtown after he led officers in pursuit in Monroe while throwing bags of marijuana out his car window, police and media reports said.  The case began Wednesday when Monroe police pulled over Shaquan Moore, 32, for speeding on Main Street, according to the Monroe Courier. Noroton Fire Department Wins Darien Little League Championship DARIEN, Conn. -- The Noroton Fire Department (AKA The Fireballs) in Darien recently won the championship for Darien Majors Little League at McGuane field. The Noroton Fire Department won 7-5, defeating Piedmont.  The Noroton Fire Department drove its Fire Truck to the field to cheer on the boys and watch the game.
