Join Kent Library's Newbery Book Club, Read 'Julie Of The Wolves' KENT, N.Y. -- The Newbery Book Club will meet at the Kent Public Library on the third Wednesday of each month. Its next book, for its January meeting, will be "Julie of the Wolves" by Jean Craighead George. New Rochelle HS Cheerleaders Win N.J. Championship, Heading To DisneyWorld NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- New Rochelle High School's varsity cheerleaders won the Garden State Championships. The team was invited to compete in the event after placing second last month out of 24 teams at the regional championships. Wilton Republican Town Committee Endorses Bufano For Board Of Selectman WILTON, Conn. -- The Wilton Republican Town Committee endorsed Lori Bufano to fill the seat on the Board of Selectmen left vacant when Ken Dartley resigned in November 2015, according to a story in the Wilton Bulletin. Bufano, who currently serves on the Planning and Zoning Commission and was recently voted its vice chairman, received a majority vote by committee members who attended the Jan. 12 meeting in the Town Hall Annex, the Wilton Bulletin said.
