Dance Expo At Byram Hills HS In Armonk To Benefit Children's Charity ARMONK, N.Y. -- The Dance Team at Byram Hills High School in Armonk presents a Dance Expo called "Dancing For Dreams-Dancing For Dollars."The team has invited other local dance teams to perform as well. It will benefit Heavenly Productions Foundation, a not-for-profit whose mission is to help children in need and in distress. It will be Jan. 15 from 7-9 p.m. The snow date is Saturday, Jan. 16. Stamford Police Department Warns Residents Of IRS Telephone Scam STAMFORD, Conn. -- The Stamford Police Department is warning residents of an IRS scam taking place in the area.The department has received over 50 reports this week from residents stating that they have received phone calls from people claiming to be from the Internal Revenue Service.  The potential scam victims are told that they need to pay back taxes or will be immediately arrested. The department has received numerous calls this week from residents regarding the IRS impersonation scam. The scammers call a taxpayer claiming to be IRS officials and demand the person pay a bogus tax bill.  The callers will usually request that the victim pay the bill with a prepaid debit card or wire transfer.
