She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Westport Police Athletic League Adds Rugby For New Season, Stages Clinic WESTPORT, Conn. -- The Westport Police Athletic League (P.A.L.) added rugby as a new youth sport this month and hosted its first ever Youth Rugby Clinic at P.J. Romano Field. Thirty three boys in grades 5-8 participated in drills led by the Staples High School staff and team as well as the Fairfield Rugby Club.  The Westport PAL is a nonprofit youth organization run by both active and retired police officers, and volunteers from the community.
