Serious Crash Impacts Traffic on Busy Route In Westchester: Developing A serious crash is causing traffic delays on a busy main route in Northern Westchester, police announced. The crash happened on Route 6 in Somers between Clayton Boulevard and Mahopac Avenue on Thursday, May 2, the Carmel Police Department announced just before 12:30 p.m.  Carmel and Somers Police are now directing traffic in the area of the crash. Lane Closures To Affect Stretch Of Parkway In Westchester: Here's Where, When A series of lane closures are scheduled to affect a stretch of a busy parkway in Westchester for a couple of days, officials announced.  Single and double lane closures along both directions of the Sprain Brook Parkway between the Bronx River Parkway in Yonkers and the Taconic State Parkway in Mount Pleasant will go into effect on Thursday, May 2, and Friday, May 3, the New York State Department of Transportation announced. Officials added that the closures will last between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. both days.  The closures will allow crews to perform road work.

Busy Parkway Ramp To Close In Westchester: Here's Where, When A busy exit ramp on a parkway in Westchester is scheduled to temporarily close, officials announced.
