Man Fatally Struck By Train In Summit: NJ Transit A man was fatally struck by a train near Summit Station, early Tuesday morning, May 27, authorities said. At 1:28 a.m., Morris and Essex Line train 6907, which departed New York Penn Station and was en route to Dover, struck and fatally injured the man, NJ Transit said.  There were no injuries reported to the approximately 50 customers or crew on board, NJ Transit said. New Jersey Transit Police are leading the investigation.

Two Teenagers Killed In Jackson Crash: Police Two teenagers were killed and three others were injured in a crash in Jackson Township, early Friday, May 23, authorities said. At 4:39 a.m., officers responded to North Hope Chapel Road and New Central Avenue after a vehicle struck a tree, Jackson Township police said.
