Fully Involved Tesla Car Fire Takes Nearly 45 Minutes To Put Down In Stamford A fully-involved Tesla fire took in Fairfield County took firefighters nearly 45 minutes to extinguish due to its electric engine. The fire began in Stamford around 11:20 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 15 in the parking lot behind the Blue Ginger Restaurant on Main Street. According to Capt. Police Search For Pickup Truck Connected To Hit-Run CT Crash Police are asking the public for help locating a pickup truck that allegedly fled a hit-and-run crash that injured two juveniles in Connecticut. The crash took place in New Haven County around 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 14 in Wallingford, on Highland Avenue in the area of Johnson Road. Police Searching For Duo Who Allegedly Stole Item From Garage Of Long Island Home Police on Long Island are searching for two men who allegedly entered the garage of a home and made off with an electric Segway scooter worth $900. The burglary took place in Plainview around 4:45 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 15 on Lillian Lane. Long Island Student Charged With Making Terroristic Threat, Police Say A Long Island student was charged with making a terroristic threat after allegedly posting a threat on social media of hurting students and teachers. The 14-year-old male student made the threats on Thursday, Sept. 15, against R.C. Murphy Junior High School in Stony Brook. Online Threat Under Investigation At School District In Hudson Valley Two Hudson Valley schools will be open on Friday, Sept. 16, despite an online threat. Long Island Spa Busted For Prostitution, Ilegal Massages, Police Say Two employees of a Long Island spa have been arrested for allegedly providing illegal massages and prostitution. The duo was arrested in Seaford on Thursday, Sept. 15 at the Foot Space on Merrick Road.
