Pedestrian Killed In Crash In Allentown: Coroner A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Allentown early Monday, April 7, authorities announced. The woman was hit around 5:30 a.m. in the area of Franklin and Hamilton Streets, according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office. She was rushed to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, where she was pronounced dead at 9:29 a.m. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 to determine her official cause of death. Search Underway For Family Of 78-Year-Old Man Found Dead At Berks Nursing Home: Coroner A search is underway for the family of a man found dead at a Berks County nursing home, officials announced on Monday, April 7. Barry L. Manning, 78, died of natural causes at Sinking Spring Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, where he had been living since August 2023, according to Deputy Coroner Jonn M. Hollenbach.
