Arrest Made In Scranton Man's 'Suspicious Death': Police One man is in custody after a 36-year-old was killed in Scranton on Tuesday, May 14.  Police originally called Benjamin Thompson's Jackson Street death "suspicious" before declaring it a homicide on Thursday morning, May 16.  By Thursday night, 24-year-old Rahjuan Marquel Morgan was arrested for criminal homicide and criminal conspiracy, city police said.  "This investigation is still underway and more arrests are expected," officials said.  SPD is asking anyone with information to leave a tip by calling 570-348-4134.

Crews Respond To Dryer Fire At Phoenixville Laundromat Firefighters were called to a small blaze at the Happy Wash Day laundromat on Bridge Street Friday morning, May 17.  Officials said clothes in a dryer caught fire around 11 a.m. Firefighters arrived to find smoke in the building and smoldering laundry in one machine, Phoenixville Fire Department said.  Scenes from the fire at Happy Laundry Day on May 17. Suspect Arrested For Shooting In Abington Home: Police Abington police responded to a domestic shooting in a Roslyn home early on Friday, May 17, the department says.  It happened on the 2500 block of Pershing Avenue around 9 a.m., according to authorities.  An adult victim was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while a suspect was "quickly taken into custody," police said.  The investigation is ongoing and there is "no danger to the community," they added.

Delco Thieves Made Off With Over $14K In Sunglasses, Troopers Say State police in Delaware County are looking for two people in connection with a May 5 retail theft.  The robbers stole about $14,300 in sunglasses from the LensCrafters at 539 Wilmington West Chester Pike in Glen Mills, troopers said in a release. Crash Shuts Down I-81 On-Ramp In Franklin County A multi-vehicle accident shut down an on-ramp to Interstate 81 in Franklin County on Friday morning, May 17, according to PennDOT.  Officials said it happened on the PA 696 ramp to I-81's southbound lanes near Exit 24 in Southampton Township.
