Brick Man Fled Scene After Crashing 69 Chevy Camaro: Prosecutor
A 54-year-old Brick Township man was arrested after he crashed a 1969 Chevy Camaro and fled the scene on Wednesday, July 2, authorities said.
At 8 p.m., Brick Township police responded to Schoener Drive and Brick Boulevard and found the Camaro had crashed into a utility pole and Nicholas Lotito, the driver, left the scene on foot, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said.
Lotito lost control of the Camaro before crashing, Billhimer said. Two passengers in the car also left the scene, with one later checking into a nearby hospital, where he was treated and released, Billhimer said.

Several people were hurt and power outages were reported after a crash involving a bus and two cars brought down a utility pole in a Rockland County neighborhood.
The incident happened around 9:15 a.m. Friday, June 6, at the intersection of Hilltop Place and Highview Road in Monsey, according to The Monsey Scoop and Ramapo Police.

A tractor-trailer crash early Friday, May 30 in Ridgefield sent two people to the hospital, knocked out power, and left part of the borough shut down for hours, officials said.
The crash happened around 2:50 a.m., at Broad Avenue and Maple Avenue, according to both Ridgefield Mayor Hugo Jimenez and the Ridgefield Fire Department.

At 2:26 a.m., a Madza CX-90 was traveling northbound on Millbrook Road in Blairstown when the vehicle veered off the roadway to the left, traveled down an embankment, struck a utility pole and overturned, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.

Fatal Groton Crash: Car Hits Utility Pole, Driver Killed In Single-Vehicle Wreck
A single-car crash on Wednesday, May 7, left a driver dead after the vehicle struck a utility pole, police said.
Multiple 911 calls came in just after 1:20 p.m. reporting a serious crash at 21 Fort Hill Road in Groton, between Depot Road and South Road, authorities said.
Groton Police responded to the scene and found that the SUV had hit the utility pole while traveling south. Officers discovered the driver, the vehicle's sole occupant, unconscious.
