She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Bridgeport Lifts Snow Emergency Parking Ban BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The city of Bridgeport is notifying all residents that the snow emergency parking ban in effect since Saturday, Jan. 23, is now lifted. Normal parking ordinances can now be followed.  Both commercial and residential property owners are responsible for clearing snow from the sidewalks in front of their buildings, the city reminded citizens.  Any property owners who fail to clear snow in front of their properties can face a fine of $100.
